What is Dirty Larry??!
Dirty Larry is a cheeky little helper that boosts your plant and soil health that also helps the planet. Our Black Soldier Fly Larvae rapidly consume food and other organic waste streams collected from farms and community. In a matter of days, not weeks, they've converted that material into protein and fat (for their chubby little bodies), and pooped out excess nutrients. This poop, called 'frass' is a nutrient and microbe rich product that is a super food for your plants and soil.

How to use Dirty Larry Tea Bags:
- Add your tea bag to clean water
- Soak to allow nutrients to leach into the water
- Water your indoor/outdoor plants, herbs, flowers or vegetables
- Repeat until no further leaching occuring
- Bury your used tea bag. It's 100% compostable - now a slow release boost for your soil!!

Superhero origin story
Dirty Larry was born in 2020 as 'Dirt Larv'. We thought it was a clever pun: 'Dirt' + 'Larvae'!! But, due to a poor font choice on our early packaging, people misread the label and asked us 'What is Dirty Larry?" It happened so often that we just changed the name! As they say, the customer is always right!
